Senior Account Executive (Rockford, IL)

If you can say yes to all of these questions, we want to talk to you. We’re looking for that unique Senior Account Executive with the organizational skills to manage a book of business and the salesmanship to grow it! This position would work with an automotive aftermarket parts retailer to design and implement strategic marketing programs. The perfect candidate must be able to identify marketing solutions utilizing every platform and data available (and sometimes those that aren’t available yet).

The Senior Account Executive position at Arthur Elliott is a mixture of “Farming” and “Hunting”. You will have an established customer to grow while building upon opportunities to expand their business. Our cornerstones are our personal relationships with our clients and our ability to consistently create and implement effective marketing strategies that drive results for our customers.

This position will be on site daily in client’s office located in Rockford, IL and will require out-of-town/overnight travel.

Position Responsibilities

  • Senior Account Executive will lead marketing strategy and execution through various media channels (digital, email, print, outdoor, radio, and TV)
  • Brainstorming and creatively thinking outside the box!
  • Proactive in addressing the needs of the client
  • Passion for personal growth, lifelong learning, and advanced education/certifications
  • Stay current with marketing trends and technology
  • Establish and deepen relationships with potential and existing customers
  • Increase sales by using a consultative sales approach with current/potential customers
  • Provide technical support and training via phone and webinar
  • Coordinate copywriting, art layout, and production as well as ad changes on an ongoing basis
  • Collect analyzing and summarizing information to report results to the customer
  • Contribute to agency team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Position Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Management, or related field
  • 7+ years experience at a Marketing Agency or Senior Account Management
  • Proven Leadership and Sales experience
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft, CRM software and marketing platforms
  • Extensive customer service skills and communication skills
  • Ability to travel to client meetings and store visits
  • Outstanding organization skills and drive to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Creativity and enthusiasm
  • Automotive aftermarket retail experience or auto repair knowledge is a plus
