Social Media Manager

Position Overview

Arthur Elliott is just an ad agency. But YOU, you are the innovative, creative, originative, superhuman that can not only manage multiple social media platforms, pages, paid campaigns, and your own personal life…all at the same time, (because you laugh in the face of juggling 400 Facebook pages at once), no YOU are so much more! Position Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging social media content including copywriting and creative direction for content across multiple platforms
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver content that is on-brand with the client strategies
  • Create content that delivers the brand voice and drives engagement with target audiences
  • Manage and implement process efficiency tools like content calendars for review and approval internally and/or by clients
  • Ideation, set-up, management, optimization and reporting on advertising campaigns within social ads managers
  • Publish content on social media channels, leveraging social media management (SMM) systems and marketing automation tools/software
  • Actively report, track and optimize performance of social media channels
  • Educate team members on social metrics, trends and performance for proper communication with clients
  • Develop briefs, case studies and other content to assist in Arthur Elliott’s marketing of social management services
  • Timely management of page engagements to keep customer appreciation and client satisfaction high
  • Create new social profiles for clients and sync with appropriate SMM tools and internal documents
  • Manage multiple projects at once and prioritize timelines to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of agency experience in social media
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience marketing techniques and ideas
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with social media management systems
  • Well-versed in social media platforms, engagement, analytics, and workflow
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices

    Copywriter

    Position Overview

    Arthur Elliott is looking for a mid- to senior-level Copywriter. A writer who comes from Conceptland. Someone who can think and write in a radically impactful way. Someone who goes for the jugular with uncommon ideas. Someone who is a great storyteller. And someone who really gets it, when it comes to brand voice and nailing the vibe of the brand. We are not looking for the same ol’ sh*t, different wins.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Work under the direction of the Creative Director
    • Work with Art Director
    • Work with Account Executive and other support team leads
    • Understand the business initiatives, insights and data in order to help develop an impactful strategy with the team
    • Strong consideration of a project’s challenge, solution and impact from the conceptual stage through to the end
    • Understand how to engage with the consumer world, what motivates different personas
    • Stay on task, prioritizing tasks and managing time, based on assignments as determined by Traffic Coordinator and Creative Director
    • Conceptualize unique creative solutions
    • Conceptualize brand campaigns and unique verbal solutions
    • Conceptualize and write for print, digital, video, outdoor, social and other attention-getting stuff
    • Ability to craft a brand voice that feels unique and belongs to the brand
    • Develop brand through various strategic and creative tactics
    • Ability to write succinct, thought-provoking messaging
    • Ability to write brief brand stories that capture the imagination and are effective to the brand’s purpose and unique positioning
    • Ability to iterate to achieve strong unique solutions

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 7+ years in writing in creative environment, such as an ad agency or brand agency
    • Killer concept and portfolio a must; looking for something that stands out
    • Strong conceptual ability
    • Strong storytelling skills
    • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint software
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate with team members
    • Effectively communicate concepts
    • Have great integrity and see to it that the job gets done
    • Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude, not just saying it
    • Have a sense of humor would be great

      Position Responsibilities

      • Work with Copywriter
      • Work with Account Executive and other support team leads
      • Understand the business initiatives, insights and data in order to help develop an impactful strategy with the team
      • Strong consideration of a project’s challenge, solution and impact from the conceptual stage through to the end
      • Understand how to engage with the consumer world, what motivates different personas
      • Stay on task, prioritizing tasks and managing time, based on assignments as determined by Traffic Coordinator and Creative Director

      • Develop brand identities, collateral, web designs, eblasts, etc.
      • Direct designers on project tasks as necessary
      • Ability to present work internally and externally
      • Ability to iterate to achieve strong unique solutions
      • Work with vendors as needed
      • Art direct photo shoots

      Preferred Qualifications

      • 7+ years in graphic design in creative environment, such as an ad agency, or brand agency
      • Killer concept and design portfolio a must, looking for something that stands out
      • Strong conceptual ability
      • Strong storytelling skills
      • Solid understanding of print and digital workflow, standards and considerations
      • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud software
      • Huge plus if you have additional experience with things like video, animation, digital
      • Ability to illustrate is a plus, but not required
      • High level of design sensibility using color, typography, space, elements, etc.
      • High attention to detail
      • Ability to communicate with team members
      • Effectively communicate design concepts, both verbally and visually
      • Have great integrity and see to it that the job gets done
      • Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude, not just saying it
      • Have a sense of humor would be great
