Johnson’s Landing

,

In a city where family, legacy, and community mean the most, we built a brand that everyone would recognize…even from across a Great Lake.

Anchored by a die-hard fan base.

Johnson’s Landing is more than a brewery and a family restaurant. It’s a destination. A place to land in fair weather and foul. An anchor. And we made sure people knew it — or rather…SAW it. To get around the city’s zoning restrictions, we used public art as an opportunity to leave a mark that people would come back to. Merging the J and the L to form a massive anchor outside the restaurant, this logo soon made its way onto everything from branded merch and yard games to hamburger buns and the very building itself.

With $2.4M in sales and nearly 100,000 guests in the first 16 weeks, branded merch flew off the shelves and into the stands. Sabres games, Bills games…a little piece of Western New York, anchored in Buffalo.
