An All Natural Energy Product.
B-LINE is a Natural Energy Product that prides themselves on real, all-natural ingredients. What started as a hobby for an avid biker who was sick of the dreadful “bonk” or “crash” during long bike-rides, became a necessary tool that endurance athletes need for optimal performance. They are a Charlotte based brand, but their products are sold at multiple brick and mortar locations throughout the country – they also have a significant e-commerce presence.
They needed assistance in defining their brand identity and ultimately driving traffic to their website to increase sales. A secondary goal was to increase brand awareness, starting in the Charlotte market (with a hope of expanding nationally.)
We started out by completing extensive market research. We looked at the unique product vertical and then defined how the competitors were positioning themselves throughout the market. We then did a complete site, content and website audit to get an intricate grasp of who the brand is, what they stand for, who the target audience is and what the marketing vision should encompass. Once this was defined, we began aligning all of B-LINE’s internal and external collateral to parallel it. Every sales sheet, email, influencer kit, ad graphic, video and deck began to look and feel like the unique, quirky, expressive brand that B-LINE Natural Energy is.
From this point, our external marketing plan went into action. We combined programmatic advertising, in specific, event targeting (targeting key races throughout the country, health and wellness expos and biking trails), search and keyword targeting, and geofencing (targeting every brick and mortar retail location where B-LINE was being sold) with Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook targeted advertising, email marketing and influencer marketing.
